The International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR) recently hired Jessica MacMillan as its events manager. In this role, she will lead the planning, execution and strategic development of the association’s events, including PROGRESS, Future Leaders Forum, virtual education sessions and other industry events.

MacMillan has a strong foundation in association events and membership engagement. Previously, she served as senior membership and meetings coordinator for a number of local and national associations, where she supported event logistics, membership initiatives and collaborative programming.

MacMillan holds a bachelor’s degree in tourism, conventions and event management from Indiana University Indianapolis, along with certificates in business foundations and tourism planning and development. Her educational background grounds her work in both hospitality strategy and organizational operations.

An active leader in the meetings profession, she has been nominated as the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Indiana Chapter’s IMPRESS “Rising Star.” She also shares her expertise through committee service with MPI and involvement in local event-planning efforts. OGR.org
