National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) hired Frank Robertson as senior vice president and chief financial officer. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting and strategic planning. He will work directly with NGL President and CEO Joe Celentano and the executive leadership team to drive the company’s growth in selected markets and long-term organizational success.
Robertson has nearly 30 years of experience in insurance financial services. Prior to joining NGL, he held several financial senior leadership roles at Global Atlantic Financial Group. During his tenure there, Robertson drove the build-out of the controllership function, worked closely with all areas of the firm to implement strategic growth initiatives, and helped design and build the infrastructure and processes that enabled Global Atlantic to operate successfully as a stand-alone company.
Robertson holds a bachelor’s degree in business
administration with a concentration in accounting from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. He also has an MBA with a concentration in finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He is a certified public accountant in the state of New Jersey.
Said Robertson about his new opportunity: “I’m honored to join a financially strong, century-old company with a legacy of serving its policyholders and partners. NGL’s values-driven culture, long-term stability and forward-looking approach to growth make this an exciting opportunity. I am committed to working alongside a collaborative, talented team that contributes to NGL’s continued success, as well as driving sustainable long-term growth for our partners and policyholders.”
In other news, NGL implemented a variety of growth-rate increases on new preneed policies. Increasing the growth rate on products allows NGL’s partner agents to offer customers even more competitive products that better meet their preplanning goals. NGLIC.com
