Membership Dues and Structure
NFDA uses a funeral home-focused membership structure. All dues are paid by the firm, any legal entity that owns one or more funeral home facilities within a state. Licensed funeral directors and embalmers who own or are employed by a dues-paying firm automatically become NFDA members. Firm dues are based on annual caseload: the total number of death certificates filed, minus those filed as an agent on behalf of another funeral home.
If you’re in the following states, please contact your state association to join: Kansas, North Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia or Wyoming.
Even if our funeral home wasn’t a member of the NFDA, I would be, because of the resources, the help, the education and the impact that NFDA is trying to do all throughout the world in deathcare.
