During its 121st Annual Meeting in February, the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards (ICFSEB) finalized a series of updates to its bylaws. The revised bylaws were adopted by the delegate assembly to add clarifying language and optimize participation in the election process.

The ICFSEB board of directors will remain at nine members but will now be elected by the delegate assembly, and previous district restrictions have been removed. The newly formalized Nominating Committee will be charged with ensuring diversity in the election process and seek to fill designated positions for funeral service regulatory board licensees, administrators and consumer representatives.
