Think you know funeral service? Today is your last chance to prove it!

Registration for the reimagined 2026 Funeral Face-Off closes today, August 24. This year’s competition brings a fresh twist to the popular trivia challenge, blending funeral service knowledge with plenty of pop culture to make the competition more fun and accessible than ever.

While contestants can still expect some technical questions, categories will also include funeral history, famous deaths in pop culture, funeral traditions from around the world, and funeral service in television, movies and music. Whether you’re a trivia buff, a movie fan or simply enjoy some friendly competition, there’s something for everyone.

The competition begins with preliminary rounds held online before the 2026 NFDA International Convention & Expo. The top teams will advance to the live semifinal and championship rounds in Charlotte on October 26 and 27, where they’ll compete for bragging rights, prizes and the coveted Precoa Cup, generously sponsored by Precoa.
