If you know a student who is currently enrolled in a mortuary science program, remind them to apply for an academic scholarship from the Funeral Service Foundation.
Now, more than ever, the Foundation’s scholarship may help offset possible economic hardship facing students in the coming days, weeks and months. The scholarships are open to full-time or part-time students in good standing who are enrolled in ABFSE- or Canadian-accredited institutions/programs. Candidates must be attending classes and actively pursuing a degree in mortuary science at the time of application.
Scholarship Details:

- Application Deadline: April 1, 2020.
- Eligibility: Students enrolled in ABFSE-accredited programs, or accredited Canadian institution
- How to Apply: Visit the Foundation’s website for full details and to apply. Each candidate is required to answer five questions in no more than 250 words per question, and submit a brief video, no longer than two minutes. Past applicants who did not receive an award are encouraged to reapply.
