The Funeral and Memorial Information Council's (FAMIC) Have the Talk of a Lifetime national marketing campaign is live and driving people in your community to the consumer website, www.talkofalifetime.org. There, they can use the "Find a Funeral Professional" search tool to find funeral homes near them who can help them "have the talk" and discuss meaningful memorialization.
That's right ... FAMIC wants to drive consumers to your funeral home!
One of FAMIC's key goals for the Have the Talk of a Lifetime consumer website is to encourage visitors to reach out to funeral professionals near them.
More than 15,000 consumers visit www.talkofalifetime.org every month and the "Find a Funeral Professional search tool generates more than 200 searches each month!
Is your firm listed in the database?
Search for your business now to find out for sure by visiting www.talkofalifetime.org (this link will take you to the Talk of a Lifetime consumer website; scroll down to access the search tool and search for your zip code).
Only funeral homes that have placed the Have the Talk of a Lifetime logo and special HTML website code on their home page will be included in the search results.
If your business does not show up in the search results, you'll need to:
- Place the Have the Talk of a Lifetime logo (available on the FAMIC campaign tools website, www.famic.org/campaign (username: famic, password: campaign) on your homepage and copy and paste the following HTML code where the logo is visible.
- Adding the logo and code may be tricky; your website administrator will be able to make sure the logo and code are added correctly.
