Fall is just around the corner and the Funeral and Memorial Information Council (FAMIC) has some fantastic events planned. November will be Have the Talk of a Lifetime Month, dedicated to maximizing visibility of Have the Talk of a Lifetime, as well as driving consumers to YOU, the funeral professionals! There will be events, activities and tools to engage consumers throughout the month of November.
November lends itself well to FAMIC’s initiative to make it Have the Talk of a Lifetime Month, with the key days of recognition (World Kindness Day, National Storytelling Network’s Tellabration! Storytelling Day, Thanksgiving, National Day of Listening and National Day of Giving) that fit well with the Have the Talk messages.
The theme for this event is “Time for Family, Time for Talk” and FAMIC has created a special logo that will be used in conjunction with the Have the Talk of a Lifetime logo.
As a special opportunity, FAMIC would like to help pilot a small number of its associations’ individual members during “Time for Family, Time for Talk” month as they commit to bring an event to the public, directly in their community. YOU could be one of those funeral professionals who is involved in this initiative. Your event will receive the support you need. If you are interested, please send an email t NFDA (email@example.com) by Friday, August 12.
In addition, the FAMIC member website (www.famic.org) will contain resources everyone can use as you participate in this exciting month long opportunity including: a co-brandable holiday guidebook for consumers, social media calendar, media relations toolkit and more. Be sure to check back for event updates and materials.
Don’t miss out on this free opportunity for your business to engage the members of your community. Contact NFDA today to learn how to be among the first to join this initiative!
