Very soon you will have a chance to participate in an exciting contest that will help your community Have the Talk of a Lifetime!
Global Sharing Week, June 5-11, 2016, celebrates and encourages people and organizations to be a part of the sharing revolution. Since its national launch on February 15, the Funeral and Memorial Information Council's (FAMIC) Have the Talk of a Lifetime campaign has been discussing the importance and value of having the talk and sharing one's life story with millions of people all across America.
FAMIC will host a contest for YOU, all about sharing stories during Global Sharing Week. The contest will be social media driven – the best way to reach the most people – and it will be extremely easy to participate. Now it’s time to hear the stories of the people in your community who have had the talk!
A Quick Overview
Participating in this contest takes just two simple steps:
Step 1: FAMC will provide you with several Have the Talk of a Lifetime social media posts that urge people in your community to share their Have the Talk stories on your business’ Facebook page during Global Sharing Week.
Step 2: At the end of Global Sharing Week, you will send the stories you collect to HaveTheTalkOfALifetime@gmail.com.
The member that collects the most stories during Global Sharing Week will receive a grand prize worth $500 in Facebook advertising dollars and a free, customized Have the Talk of a Lifetime Facebook ad!
Complete contest details, including rules and requirements for participation, will be available on famic.org after Thursday May 12.
