retired president, Glenn Funeral Home, and secretary, Owensboro Memorial Gardens, Owensboro, Kentucky, died December 4, 2009, at age 88. Taylor succeeded her late husband, Ira P. Taylor Jr., who died in 1978, as president of Glenn Funeral Home and Owensboro Memorial Gardens until her retirement. She was a third-generation funeral director and the mother and grandmother, respectively, of fourth- and fifth-generation funeral directors of Glenn Funeral Home.

She is survived by sons David and Glenn, foster son Richard, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
