owner, Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, died January 23, 2010, at age 82. Miller served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He began in funeral service in 1947; he became partners with W. Paul Hayworth in 1961 and began Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, a family-owned, third-generation firm.

He is survived by wife Reva, daughters Ann and Sandy, son Frank, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister.
