Protect your funeral business from potential liabilities while protecting your cremation families!

Proper handling of all aspects of cremation cases using internal due diligence policies, procedures, and documentation will safeguard your funeral home. Based on the guideline, "Due Diligence for Funeral Homes Utilizing Third Party Crematories," the webinar incorporates real-world examples.

Mike Nicodemus, CANA President, will present funeral home and crematory operator perspectives, and CANA General Counsel Chris Farmer will present legal perspectives as they explain the six areas of cremation due diligence, from authorization through insurance reviews.

Note: Guideline jointly developed by NFDA, CANA, and ICCFA.

Presenters: Michael Nicodemus and Christopher Farmer

Mike Nicodemus is a licensed funeral director and Vice-President of cremation operations at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Homes in Tidewater, VA for 33 years. He is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and President of the Cremation Association of North America (CANA).
