Robin Heppell, CFSP, owns and operates FuneralFuturist.com, a funeral consulting company in Victoria, British Columbia, through which he helps funeral directors throughout North America incorporate innovative strategies and technologies in their business operations. Heppell is a fourth-generation funeral director with more than 20 years’ experience in both the at-need and preneed sides of funeral service in a highly competitive, high cremation (90%) market. In addition to consulting, Heppell is an instructor at the Canadian College of Funeral Service, a frequent contributor to funeral service publications, and a popular seminar speaker on a variety of funeral service topics.
