Robert “Bob” Rosson started working at Waller Funeral Home in 1983 and has been a licensed funeral director for 21 years. He graduated from the Northwest Mississippi Junior College with his degree in Mortuary Science in 1985 and soon became a licensed funeral director.

Rosson has always been committed to advancing the profession on a state and national level. He has served as a district governor for the Mississippi Funeral Directors Association. He has also served in every chair on Mississippi 's board of directors, including a term as president (2001-2002).

Rosson has served the NFDA in many ways – he was Mississippi 's representative to the Policy Board, a member of the Pursuit of Excellence Committee, a member of the Heritage Club and a regular participant in advocacy activities. He has also been a member of the Communications, Consumer Campaign, and “For a Life Worth Celebrating” committees. Rosson is a member and ambassador of the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, and holds membership in Selected Independent Funeral Homes.
