What if every person in your organization stopped making excuses and started making a difference? What if everyone in your company refused to be a victim and chose to be part of the solution - regardless of market conditions or circumstances? You would have a business that's BOOMING!
Create a culture of commitment and accountability - one choice at a time! Hear how to inspire people to assume responsibility for the success of the business. Show employees how to build a reputation for being indispensable - for "bringing it."
Leadership is a CHOICE, not a position or title. That's why your company's success is as much the will of the people as it is the will of the owner or CEO. Closing General Session featuring Lt. Col. Michael Strobl
Wed., Oct. 28, 1-2:30 p.m. (Simultaneous interpretation in Spanish)
Taking Chance (1 CE hour)
In April 2004, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, USMC, came across the name of 19-year-old Lance Cpl. Chance Phelps, a young Marine who had been killed by hostile fire in Iraq. Strobl requested that he be assigned for military escort duty to accompany Chance's remains to his family in Dubois, Wyoming.
During the journey, Strobl witnessed spontaneous outpourings of support and respect for the fallen Marine - from the groundskeepers he passed along the road to the cargo handlers at the airport, the grieving family and the funeral home. The HBO movie Taking Chance chronicles his first-person account, giving insight into the military's policy of providing a uniformed escort for all casualties. His story will touch you like no other can. DVD signing available after the program.
