September 26, 2005 The 2005 NFDA Convention & Expo is expected to be the largest convention since 1998. With pre-registration numbers at 2,200, a 10% increase over Las Vegas in 2003, all signs are pointing to a record number of funeral home owners attending the largest funeral service event in the world. This is the year you do NOT want to miss as an exhibitor. Chicago union rules have improved benefiting the booths 300 sq. ft. or smaller. In the past, the smaller exhibitors incurred labor expenses for everything from moving and setting up their displays to screwing in a light bulb.
