About the Presenters
Matthew Baskerville, CFSP, CPC, CCO, CFC, has been a licensed funeral director since 1995. He attended National Louis University in Evanston and Northwestern University, as well as Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Matt is a member of St. Rose Parish in Wilmington, where he has been involved with the music ministry since 1987, and formerly served on Parish Council. He is currently a member of the Wilmington Rotary and serves on the Board of Directors for Oakwood Cemetery Association in Wilmington. Matt is an active volunteer with the National Funeral Directors Association and is honored to have been selected as a committee person for their Pursuit of Excellence program.
Rosemarie Forsberg, CFSP, is the owner and operator of Heritage Funeral Home and Tisdale Funeral Home. Her firm has been honored with the Pursuit of Excellent award for 12 consecutive years and was the first international member inducted into NFDA’s Hall of Excellence. A funeral director, celebrant, and aftercare coordinator, Rosemarie has established Heritage Funeral Home as a cornerstone in her community, leading many programs and events throughout the year. Heritage hosts the Seeds of Recovery seven-week support group offered in the spring and fall, a clergy recognition luncheon, Halloween pumpkin giveaway, and many other community initiatives.
Jessica Koth, NFDA public relations manager, has been on the NFDA staff for more than ten years and her career in public relations spans nearly 17 years. Jessica manages NFDA’s media relations efforts and NFDA’s social media presence, edits the NFDA Bulletin, assists members with communication issues, and serves as staff liaison to the NFDA Pursuit of Excellence program. Jessica was named by funeralOne to be one of the “8 Women Funeral Professionals You Should Know About” in 2015. She is a graduate of Marquette University.
