Webinar: DNA Preservation for Funeral Professionals

February 08, 2018, 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM
NFDA Webinar
Map & Directions

All webinar times are U.S. Central Time.

1 CE hour

What’s your family’s DNA story?

As a funeral service professional, you know the market is rapidly changing its attitude toward funerals. Families expect more from you than just products and services. Families demand personalization and innovative funeral homes that will fulfill the need.

DNA preservation and testing offers a unique opportunity for you to deliver. For the first time, both current and future generations have access to profound medical/ancestral knowledge. Genetic family trees allow families to predict hereditary disease and gain access to unprecedented ‘precision’ medicine. Through DNA preservation and testing services, funeral homes will have the ability to provide personal, unique, and potentially life-saving medical services.

Learn how to:

  • Describe how funeral homes can preserve and memorialize DNA.
  • Identify the benefits of DNA sequencing, including genetic predisposition and ancestry.
  • Offer families the unique gift of discovering their family’s DNA story.
