Children Find Acceptance at Camp Heartland
All children feel a dire need to be welcomed and accepted by others. It is ironic that children affected by HIV and AIDS, who need as much emotional support as possible, are often outcasted by the rest of the world.
Now there is a special place where these children can find unconditional love and temporarily leave behind the stigma of the disease. Camp Heartland was created to bring joy and comfort to children affected by AIDS.
