House of Delegates Orchestrate Association Business, features elections of the 1996-97 NFDA officers, highlights of officer speeches, committee business updates and resolution presentations. The final day of general sessions made waves of changes when the House of Delegates voted on some major decisions. The House passed an amendment allowing licensed funeral directors who are not associated with a firm to join NFDA. The House also passed a resolution for NFDA to create a satellite office in Washington, DC. Also, the House of Delegates voted against establishing an Allied Affiliate membership category.
