Random acts of kindness can change the lives of both the giver and the receiver
During the holidays, the NFDA staff adopts a family in need. We collect food, clothing, toys and money to make the holidays less stressful for a family. One small gesture can make a monumental difference to someone in need. My education continues through other acts of kindness that funeral directors have shared with me.
You Can Make A Difference, written by Sandra Jeske, features evidence and testimonies evincing that little bit of extra effort goes a long way, not only in funeral service, but in our everyday lives. Jeske, CPS, is NFDA’s education specialist.
