Closing event raises money for NFDA 9-11 Relief Fund and highlights contribution of funeral professionals to September 11 aftermath

Throughout history, several watershed events have galvanized our nation, creating through their sheer significance a distinct feeling of “life before” and “life after” within the collective American psyche. The tragic events of September 11, 2001, left a permanent, indelible mark upon the citizens of this nation. In the spirit of resiliency, NFDA hosted “United We Stand” on the evening of March 20, 2002, a fund-raising dinner that concluded NFDA’s Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C.
