Continuing education at your fingertips
There is a new way for funeral directors to earn continuing-education credits at their pace, location and schedule—the NFDA Online Learning Center (OLC). This new "virtual" campus is available to anyone with access to the Internet.
NFDA Online Learning Center—Continuing education at your fingertips, written by Renee Gryzkewicz, associate editor of The Director, includes information on the OLC. It describes the courses that are available and includes a step-by-step list of the OLC registration process. Since its unveiling in August 2000, about a dozen funeral directors have completed OLC courses. The article includes comments from some of these registrants who all agreed that fulfilling their continuing-education requirements has never been easier.
